I am the middle child of three, birthed from two Puerto Rican parents. I was born in New York and raised in the Bronx. I currently work and reside in New York. I am a Radiographer, active in the subdivisions of X-ray and Cat Scan. I am a proud and incredibly involved mother of two boys (my soldiers).
Summer is my favorite season & nickname. Pink is my favorite color. I enjoy passing most of my time connecting with nature. I love the sun, the moon, the stars, trees, the feel of breezes, the sight of sunrise and sunset, people watching, reading, writing and listening to music.

“What you seek is seeking you.”
~ Rumi

I lost both my parents in 2008 and since then, my life has completely transformed; admittedly, not all for the better but I thank God for the opportunity, strength and courage to change that. God has blessed me with His mercy and with the gift of writing.
I focus on keeping positivity and righteousness as my guide in all that I do, say and think.

“Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.”
― Rumi

In 2009, for the first time, I picked up a pen and created …and haven’t stopped since. I hand write all my work and may choose to type some pieces in order to post and share. My goal in sharing is to receive constructive criticism in order to expand and to enlighten or inspire others.
My work is based on personal experiences, random thoughts and observances. I am heavily magnetized to love and the growth of humanity.

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
~ Rumi

My spiritual life also contributes to my creations. Love and light is what I aim to share.

Enjoy and be blessed! 🙂

Like you, I found I cold write only last year and haven’t been able to stop, but I did write some in Spanish before I learned the English language. I’ll enjoy reading your poems. 🙂

    • Thank you so much, Mary.
I don’t necessarily find handwriting superior to typing. For me, handwriting creates intimacy between my pen and paper. I enjoy leaning my hand on an empty canvas with ink swaying across the page, coloring with my thoughts. There’s something robotic with typing; the pressing of buttons for words to digitally appear on a computer screen…. well at least, while I’m creating it. I create on paper and type up what I choose to share, after writing. I enjoy crossing out, erasing and rearranging my words, as freely as I choose, while writing. Afterwards, I embrace the beautiful mess.

      I appreciate your curiosity. 🙂
