I captured these leaves from my grandmother’s tree making friends with the snow. She planted a tiny shrub in our front garden, over 20 years ago and is now almost as tall as our 2-family house. This tree is stout and symbolizes the essence of her soul. It weathers all storms and never goes leafless.
